- You're covered if your trip or holiday has to be cancelled because you or someone you're travelling with is ordered by a government or public authority to quarantine based on the suspicion that you have been exposed to COVID-19 or any coronavirus or other contagious disease
- You're not covered if your trip or holiday is cancelled by your airline or travel provider because the Foreign, Commonwealth & Development Office (FCDO) has imposed travel restrictions due to COVID-19 or any coronavirus or other contagious disease, either in the UK or at your destination
- You're not covered if you decided to cancel your trip or holiday because you don’t want to travel due to COVID-19 or any coronavirus or other contagious disease
- You're not covered if the FCDO or public authorities have imposed travel restrictions or a lockdown
What if I need to cancel excursions or activities while on my trip?
- You're covered for any activity or excursion you paid for or booked and agreed to pay for before being diagnosed with COVID-19 or any coronavirus or other contagious disease, or ordered to quarantine by a government or public authority

What if I need to cut short or cancel my trip after I've left home?
- You're covered for emergency repatriation costs to bring you home if the Foreign and Commonwealth Office (FCDO) impose travel restrictions (while you're at your destination) and has requested you to return to the UK
- You're covered for lost or unused holiday costs if you're ordered by a government or public authority to quarantine based on the diagnosis or suspicion that you specifically have been exposed to COVID-19 or any coronavirus or other contagious disease.
- You're not covered for any holiday costs for any period of your trip that you have not enjoyed because a quarantine period is ordered by the FCDO or government authority

What additional transport and/or accommodation costs are covered?
- You're covered for additional accommodation costs to stay longer at your destination because you specifically have been ordered to quarantine by a government or public authority while you're at your destination (maybe because you have been diagnosed with COVID-19).
- You're covered for additional transport costs to bring you home if your pre-booked transport can't be rescheduled because you had to stay longer at your destination due to a quarantine period. This quarantine period must have been ordered by a government or public authority for you specifically whilst you're at your destination.
- You're not covered for additional transport or accommodation costs after you left home because the FCDO imposed travel restrictions or lockdown either in the UK or at your destination.
