OFFICIAL INJURY CLAIM
Personal injury claim under £5,000?
If you're injured in a Road Traffic accident, you may be able to use the new service offered by the Official Injury Claims Portal to help claim for compensation without legal help and the associated costs and fees of a solicitor or legal representative.
Established by the Ministry of Justice, the OIC (official injury claims portal) intends to deliver quick access to claims for injury compensation under £5,000 without the cost of a solicitor or legal representative. Its purpose is to make compensation awards for injuries like whiplash more consistent and to reduce legal fees.
The OIC portal provides a self service facility to enable customers to make their own injury claims in road traffic accidents against the insurer or compensator of the at fault party.
