Due to coronavirus (COVID-19) our car and home call centres are closed for new sales. You can still get a quote online and we’re open for existing customers. If you chose to have your documents emailed, they would've come from the email address [email protected]

Maybe you've got the email but can't remember the password to your documents? 
The password to open your documents is your date of birth in this format - DDMMYYYY. So, if your birthday is 6th March 1952, please enter 06031952.

If you received your documents from 31 March 2020, you don't need a password to open them.

Great news! If you have an LV= account, you can now view your documents online. Our online LV= account is brand new, so it's currently only available if you chose to register when saving, buying or renewing your policy after 30th April 2019.

If you've chosen to automatically renew

We'll renew it using your credit or debit card, or by monthly or annual direct debit so you won't risk driving uninsured

If your policy is due to renew automatically, it will show on your renewal letter. If you'd prefer us not to renew your policy automatically, please let us know before your renewal date by calling us on:

Would you like to renew your policy online?

Roughly three weeks before the renewal date of your car insurance policy, we'll send you a handy pack with all the details on how to renew your policy.

The pack will include a schedule summarising:

  • The cover and price of your policy
  • Details of the car(s) insured
  • Who can drive the car(s)
  • Details of any optional extras you've chosen
  • Schedule with details of your and any named drivers' driving history

Check this carefully as we'll base your renewal offer on this information.

Before you claim you might have some questions...

If you've been involved in a car accident, make sure you're safe before getting in touch. Your claim doesn't have to be reported immediately if you don't feel safe or comfortable.

How the claims process works

How to claim:

  • Have your registration number or policy number and any documents to hand
  • If your car is stolen report it to the police first and get a crime reference number (you'll need this when you call to claim)
  • Give us as much information as you can, including if any other vehicles, people or property were involved

 

Windscreen or glass claim:

There's no need to contact us - you can get in touch with our recommended windscreen provider directly. And good news! Windscreen claims don't affect your no claim discount and you don't even need your policy number to book!
