An example of how the Member Care Line could be used to help a member

Joan had lived in a cul-de-sac for over 30 years. A developer bought a barren plot of land at the end of her garden, intending to build four houses on it. Joan was worried about the impact this would have on her privacy and parking in the area. She was able to phone the Member Care Line to discuss her concerns and to find out what steps she should take to object to the plans

Counselling

Qualified counsellors are at the end of the phone to help and support members with anything from relationship difficulties, bereavement, stress, debt, depression and anxiety.

Health and wellbeing

Members can speak to a team of qualified nurses who offer advice and guidance on areas such as childcare, elderly care, medication, pre travel advice and what to expect if you’re diagnosed with an illness or medical condition.
