We know how tough it's been and we want to help you where we can

Our Green Heart Support is available to our car and motorbike insurance customers who are struggling financially due to coronavirus (COVID-19), and need our support the most.

Since we started providing help to our customers in 2020, we've been reviewing our support to make sure we react to the ever-changing coronavirus (COVID-19) situation so we can help our most financially vulnerable customers.

So, if you've not yet received the 80% payment scheme via the government or your employer, you're self-employed and unable to work, have become unemployed, or have had a reduction in working hours due to coronavirus (COVID-19) and you're struggling financially, we’re here for you.

This support is available to existing LV= car or motorcycle customers or anyone in their household who: 
                                             
  • Have not yet received the 80% payment scheme from their employer
  • Are self-employed and unable to work or trade due to COVID-19, and haven’t yet received the 80% payment scheme via the government 
  • Were made unemployed after 1 March 2020 due to COVID-19
  • Are struggling financially from a reduction in working hours due to COVID-19
 
If none of the above applies to you, there may be other ways we can help. Since the first lockdown in March 2020, we’ve been helping all our customers to reduce their premiums by temporarily changing their cover, for example reducing mileage or switching to fire and theft if they didn’t intend to use their car at that time.
