Our AGM will take place on Thursday 25 June at 12pm – all members are invited to join us online or in person

Here you’ll find documents and information about the AGM as well as details of how you can vote and attend the Meeting.

  • You can vote if you’ve been a member for a continuous 12-month period, as of the date of the AGM. 
  • Ready to vote now? Head over to our voting portal. The deadline to cast your votes is 12pm on Tuesday 23 June.
  • Alternatively, you can vote on the day by joining our AGM online or in person.
  • If you’re a member and you haven’t received your AGM letter by Tuesday 26 May, please email [email protected].
  • Full results and minutes from the AGM will be published on this page shortly after the Meeting has taken place.

  • You’ll receive updates on how we serve our members and customers as well as information on investment and fund performance. 
  • There will be an opportunity to ask questions during a Q&A session. 
  • You’ll have the chance to vote during the Meeting if you haven’t already.

How to vote on the day and information about the proxy process

You can cast your votes live whilst you watch the AGM from 12pm on Thursday 25 June. On the day, simply click on the button below – it will be active from 11.30am.

Remember to have your two security codes which are in your AGM letter. You’ll also need the Meeting Code which is 30445.

Online AGM

    Attend and vote in person at the AGM

    You’re welcome to join us at the Captain’s Club Hotel in Christchurch on Thursday 25 June. Please arrive by 11.30am for registration purposes. The AGM will begin at 12pm.

    Address: Captain’s Club Hotel, Wick Lane, Christchurch, BH23 1HU. There is limited parking so please use one of the nearby pay and display car parks.

      What is a proxy?

      A proxy is someone who’ll be at the AGM to cast your votes for you. If you’re unable to attend the AGM in person, you can ask a proxy to vote on your behalf. Most members nominate the Chair of the Meeting to be their proxy, but you can choose someone else. That person will need to attend the AGM in your place and vote on the day, either online or in person.

      If you wish to nominate a proxy that’s not the Chair of the Meeting, you’ll need to give us their details. You can do this by completing the AGM proxy voting form, if you received one in the post, or via the voting portal.  

      In person

      Your proxy will need to come along to the Captain’s Club Hotel in Christchurch on 25 June with identification, such as a passport or driving license. 

      Online

      We’ll get in touch with your proxy via email to give them their own access codes to join the Meeting online.

      Depending on how you vote, and if your proxy attends the AGM, they’ll either: 

      • Accept the responsibility to cast the votes as instructed by you and will be able to observe the AGM online or in person.
      • Vote as they see fit at the AGM if you left some, or all, of the votes as discretionary.

      Please note that your votes aren’t cast until the AGM. Therefore, if your appointed proxy doesn’t attend the meeting your votes won’t be counted. It’s up to you to check and ensure that your appointed proxy will be able to attend the AGM and is willing to represent you.

        • £151 million was paid out in personal protection claims supporting over 8,000 individuals and families when it really counts. Since 2020, we’ve paid out more than £780 million, supporting over 45,000 people.
        • Via our member support programme, we gifted nearly £12,000 to those who needed a helping hand and over £9,000 was waived in premiums to help financially vulnerable members keep their protection cover in place.
        • We launched the UK's first with-profits fixed term annuity, strengthening our mutual offering. This allows more members to share in the success of the business, once the policy has been in place for 12 months.
        • We celebrated 20 years since the launch of our smoothed investment product, enabling a smoother investment journey for members.

          ** This includes a £20 million mutual bonus and a one-off bonus of £80 million in respect of a final distribution of proceeds from the sale of the General Insurance business in 2019.
