Savings, retirement and protection specialist LV= is pleased to announce the appointment of Barry Cudmore and Harry Hanscomb as Chief Financial Officer and Chief Operating Officer respectively.
They will join LV= in early September and report to Mark Hartigan, LV= Chief Executive.
Barry Cudmore is currently Group Chief Financial Officer, Athora Holding an insurance and reinsurance group focused on the European market. Prior to Athora, he spent 12 years at Aegon Ireland where he held a number of roles including Chief Financial Officer, Chief Actuary and latterly Chief Executive Officer. Barry started his career at Irish Life & Permanent as Actuarial Manager and is a fellow of the Institute of Actuaries.
Harry Hanscomb is currently Head of Operations Delivery EMEA for Zurich Insurance having previously held Chief Operating Officer roles across Asia Pacific and the Middle East for the insurer. Additionally, he has been General Manager at Capita in UAE and before his corporate career Harry spent 19 years in the British Army. In the newly created role of Chief Operating Officer, Harry will focus on managing the efficiency of key areas such as IT, customer experience, management information and operations.
