Meet Alain Kerneis, Non-Executive Director

We’re delighted to welcome Alain Kerneis to the LV= Board as a Non-Executive Director and Chair of our Investment Committee.

Following a thorough recruitment process, Alain joined the LV= Board on 1 July 2026.

Alain brings more than 25 years’ experience in global financial markets and asset management, with deep expertise in investment strategy, portfolio construction and institutional investment governance. He has previously held senior leadership roles at BlackRock and Goldman Sachs. Alain also brings significant non-executive director and Board experience. He currently serves as a non-executive director on the two main Boards of the Universities Superannuation Scheme, on its Trustee Board and on the Board of its in-house investment manager. He also acts as an advisor to the investment arm of a family office. Alain has held non-executive roles including Chair of the Board at Waystone Fund Services UK Ltd and has chaired several investment committees for private wealth organisations.
