Why have you asked to see a birth certificate or passport?

As a regulated financial services organisation, we’re required to comply with legal and regulatory obligations such as the prevention, detection and reporting of fraud and other financial crime.

We'll need to confirm the date of birth of the person insured to make sure that they have been paying the correct premiums. We'll also need to verify the identity of the person or persons who will receive the proceeds of any claim.
