Cancel your renewal

Want to cancel your automatic home insurance renewal?

We'll miss you if you cancel, so we'd love for you to stay 

If your renewal date is in 30 days or less, you can cancel your home insurance renewal online up to 4 working days before your cover is due to end. 
 
You’ll be taken to our renewals page where you can access your policy using the policy number. Don't worry if you see reference to ‘payment’, this is just the first stage of the process and you won’t need to pay anything to cancel your renewal.

 

If your renewal date is more than 30 days away, you can simply fill out our online cancellation form and we'll do the rest! 

Your renewal pack

We'll be in touch about three weeks before your renewal date

We'll send you a renewal pack which will summarise:

  • The cover and price of your policy
  • Details of the home insured
  • Details of any optional extras you've chosen

If any of these details have changed or are incorrect, it's important you call us so we can correct them and send you another renewal quote.

Review your cover level and excesses to make sure they still meet your needs.

If you don't renew your insurance or make other arrangements, you won't be insured.

Automatic renewal

If you've chosen to automatically renew...

We'll renew your policy using your credit or debit card, or by monthly or annual direct debit so you won't risk being uninsured 

If your policy is due to renew automatically, it will show on your renewal letter.

If you’d like to change how you pay or you don’t want us to automatically renew your policy, you can use our online services to do so. You can do this up to 4 working days before your cover is due to end (a working day is Monday to Friday, excluding bank holidays).
