What is Investment Pathways?
- Investment Pathways is an initiative from the Financial Conduct Authority that aims to support customers who have taken a drawdown product without financial advice.
- Our Investment Pathways funds support customers with their investment choices as they approach retirement. The funds also aim to help customers who may want to start taking tax-free cash and income from their LV= pension.
- Investment Pathways are stock market related investments which can rise and fall in value and you could get back less than you paid in.
Independent Governance
We use a Governance Advisory Arrangement provided by an independent company ZEDRA to provide oversight on our monitoring of the Pathway funds.
- They act solely in the interests of scheme members and operate independently of LV=
- They assess and, where necessary, challenge us on the value for money of Investment Pathways
- Assess the quality of benefits and services and minimum governance standards
- Raise any concerns they have to LV= in the first instance, and ultimately, to the FCA should they feel concerns have not been adequately addressed
