At LV= we are always looking for more ways to help you protect the things you love, so we are pleased to offer our existing pet insurance customers access to free veterinary consultations via our partnership with FirstVet.

With the FirstVet service, you can video chat with a vet if you are worried about your pet’s health but aren’t sure if they need to visit a vet. Many conditions can be solved in the comfort of your own home!

FirstVet’s experienced vets can provide advice, treatment recommendations and a referral to your local vet practice, if necessary.

Using FirstVet won't affect your premium and there's no excess to pay for this service either.

The FirstVet service is an additional benefit provided by LV= whilst you hold an active Pet policy with us. Using the FirstVet service will not affect any of the terms and conditions of your Pet policy. Use of the service is free once you have registered with FirstVet. If LV= amend or remove this offering in the future, all customers with an existing pet policy in force will be informed of any changes. Once registered, you will remain an account holder with FirstVet unless you cancel your membership. You can only use this consultation service for dogs or cats insured with LV=.
