From our company culture, to our ways of working, we put our people at the heart of everything we do. Here's a little bit about our wellbeing strategy and some of our aims this year to make sure our people feel supported when they need it most...

Our objectives for 2021

1 in 4 people experience a mental health condition in any year, so wellbeing and mental health is more important than ever. We owe it to ourselves and each other to take care of our mental health in every way we can.

What are we doing to help?

We work on initiatives to promote a positive sense of wellbeing and to provide support for mental health. Here’s a quick glimpse at just some of the things we're currently working on for 2021:

  • Weekly wellbeing webinars and newsletters
  • Inhouse wellbeing and mental health learning modules
  • Helping managers to support the wellbeing and mental health of their teams
  • Offering premium access to headspace for all employees
  • Continuous improvement of our current employee wellbeing hub 
  • Reviewing the wellbeing of our senior leadership team through surveys and workshops
  • Recruiting an additional wave of Mental Health First Aiders
  • Raising awareness of different national focus days and weeks

Our Wellbeing Representatives

We have an excellent network of wellbeing reps who support our company-wide initiatives whilst also running localised activities to support their teams. We create a calendar of events to help give them some steer for the year, including important dates such as Time to Talk Day, World Mental Health Day, World Sleep Day, World Suicide Prevention Day, Global Nutrition Awareness Day and so many more...

Mental Health First Aiders

Alongside our wellbeing network, we have 40 trained Mental Health First Aiders ready to support our colleagues. This year we are recruiting 30 more Mental Health First Aiders to extend our support even further and continue highlighting the importance of talking about mental health.
