My car has been stolen, what do I do?

We're so sorry to hear your car's been stolen, we know how upsetting it can be. The first thing to do is to report the theft to the police immediately. Dial ‘101’ and ask to be put through to your local station. They'll ask for details including your registration number, make, model and colour of the car. They’ll also give you a crime reference number which you’ll need when you call us.

Next, call us on 0330 678 5550. Our claims line is open 24 hours a day, 7 days a week and we'll do everything we can to help. If you have hire car cover, we'll arrange a hire car for up to 21 days or four days from the date we pay your claim (whichever comes first.)
 
To discuss an existing stolen car claim, please call us on 0330 678 5577. Existing stolen car claims line open 8:00am - 6:00pm Monday to Friday and 8:00am - 1:00pm on Saturday's. Calls will be recorded. For Text Phone first dial 18001.
