Fiat safety features
Most newer Fiats have a number of beneficial safety features
Things like...
- The ParkSense Rear Park Assist System uses sensors to detect objects behind you and will alert you with audible and visual warnings.
When you put your car into reverse, the standard Rear Back Up Camera displays a wide-angle view of the area behind you on your Uconnect touchscreen, complete with gridlines so you can assess how much space you have and how to manoeuvre. - The Electronic Stability Control (ESC) detects any inconsistencies between your steering input and the direction of the vehicle, automatically applying the brakes to individual wheels if required.
It uses the dynamic control systems to help you maintain control in any conditions. All Fiats also come with a four-wheel Anti-lock brake system to offer great brake response and resist brake fade.
- Seven Airbags in your car mean you have multistage driver and front passenger airbags, a driver’s knee airbag, full-length side-curtain airbags and seat-mounted pelvic-thoracic airbags, plus reactive front seat head restraints which activate in the event of a rear collision.
