With LV= car insurance, you don't need to tell us about any medical conditions.
As long as you've declared relevant conditions to the DVLA, that's all you need to do.
Here are some of the health conditions that you'll need to tell the DVLA about:
- A heart condition
- Diabetes
- Epilepsy
- Fainting spells
- Glaucoma
- Sleep apnoea
- Strokes

You could be fined up to £1,000 if you don't tell DVLA about a medical condition that affects your driving and you may be prosecuted if you’re involved in an accident as a result.
My doctor has said I shouldn't drive for a while, do I need to let you know?
If your doctor has said you shouldn't drive for a certain period of time, there's no need to let us know, just make sure you follow your doctor's advice.
