- LV= becomes the latest insurer to offer Multi Cover insurance
- At a time when families are looking to cut costs, customers get a 10% discount when combining car and home insurance1
- With Multi Cover, every additional car added gets a 15% discount
LV= General Insurance, one of the UK’s largest car and home insurers, has launched its new multi cover insurance, a one-stop shop offering customers a simple and easy way to buy home and car insurance under one policy and save money.
At a time when families are looking at ways to save on bills, the new product offers a 10%1 discount when combining car and home insurance. In addition, Multi Cover offers a 15% discount for every additional car which is added at the same address as the property1.
The new product allows customers to insure up to six cars and their home, with benefits including an automatic discount, one renewal date and the ability to review and make changes to policies in one place online. Car insurance can also be scheduled for later on in the year if it’s not yet up for renewal and customers will get an upfront guaranteed price.
The new product provides three levels of buildings and contents insurance – Essentials, Home or Home Plus – along with car insurance which includes LV=’s uninsured driver2 and vandalism3 promise. In the event of an incident, if the other car isn't insured and the accident’s not the driver’s fault, customers could keep their No Claim Discount, and in the event of a vehicle being vandalised, the same approach is taken.
Heather Smith, Managing Director at LV= General Insurance commented: “We know it’s not easy right now for many families, so being able to save money and also take the stress out of managing insurance is important and our Multi Cover policy does just that. We also need to continue to make things as easy as possible for our customers, and combining policies is a great way of managing multiple insurance in way that’s hassle-free.”
