Insurance FAQs

Does LV= offer listed building insurance?

Here at LV= we insure listed buildings that have a preservation order or are Grade 2 listed (England & Wales), Grade B1 listed (Northern Ireland) or Grade C listed (Scotland).

The higher graded status buildings require specialist attention and we don't cover these buildings.

In the UK, if a property's 'listed' it means it's considered to have special architectural, cultural or historical importance.

Reasons a building might be listed include national interest, age, aesthetic appeal, or because it represents a select few of its kind still standing.

It probably won't come as a surprise that their upkeep and repairs can cost considerably more compared to a non-listed building.
