Important things you should know
- If you stop paying the premiums for critical illness cover you may not be covered when you need it most.
- If you cancel the policy or don't suffer a critical illness, you won't get back any premiums you've paid.
- If you choose level cover, your cover is fixed when your policy starts, and doesn't change. This means it won't keep up with inflation, and will buy less in the future.
- We only pay for the illnesses covered in our policy, and no others.
- We'll pay your claim as long as you live for at least 14 days after being diagnosed.
Who can apply for LV= Critical Illness cover?
All we ask is that:
- you're a UK resident
- you're aged 17 to 59
- your plan term lasts for at least five and no more than 40 years
- your plan ends before you're 65
- you pay a premium of at least £5 a month
