Who we are
With over 5,700 employees working in 17 offices across the UK, we are the UK's largest friendly society and a leading financial mutual, with more than five million members and customers.
Our history and mutual societies
Our roots go all the way back to 1843, when we welcomed our first customers. In those days we were known as the "Liverpool Independent Legal Victoria Burial Society".
