What's covered with our Multi Cover insurance?

Ability to cover up to 6 cars and up to 12 drivers under the same policy

Accidental damage cover
Scratched or dented your car? We'll get it sorted.

Uninsured driver promise
If the other driver isn't insured and the accident’s not your fault, you'll keep your NCD and your excess – as long as you have the details of the other vehicle and driver.

Misfuelling cover
Accidentally added the wrong fuel? We'll pay to fix the damage to your engine and drain and flush the tank. You'll just need to pay your excess.

Vandalism promise
If your car is vandalised and you have to claim, you'll keep your no claim discount – you'll just need to pay your excess.

What's not covered:

Any drivers who aren't named on the policy

Damage to any car you're driving that's not the car you've insured with us

If the car's stolen when the keys were left in the ignition, the engine was running or it was left unlocked

Mechanical or electrical breakdown

Choose from our three levels of home insurance, Essentials, Home or Home Plus

Unlimited cover to rebuild your home
Up to £500,000 towards rebuilding costs with our Essentials policy, up to £1m towards rebuilding costs with our Home policy, or unlimited with Home Plus.

Flexible contents cover
Not sure how much stuff in your house is worth? No worries, we can help you with that.

Accidental damage cover
You can choose from a few levels of cover, so from fixtures and fittings to TVs and tech, you’ll find the cover you need.

Lock replacement
Keys lost or stolen? We'll replace your locks, no problem.

Claiming for both buildings and contents?
You'll only pay one excess.

Optional extras

Guaranteed hire car if yours is off the road

From £18.71 per year, you're guaranteed use of a hire car if your own car is being repaired by our recommended repairer service, or has been stolen or written off.

This price includes your member discount

Extended personal accident cover

For just £14.10 per year, you can increase your personal accident cover from £10,000 to £100,000 to protect you, your partner or a named driver on the policy if you or they suffer a serious injury while travelling in, or getting into or out of your car. In addition, you’ll benefit from cash payments for broken bones and hospitalisation, as well as help with recovery with physio and mental health sessions

Breakdown cover

From £35 per year Britannia Rescue gives you access to over 4,000 breakdown professionals across the UK. Three levels of cover so you can choose what's best for you.

Protected no claim discount

For every year you don’t claim on your car insurance, you'll earn a year of no claim discount. The more years of NCD you’ve built up, the bigger the discount on your car insurance when you renew. If you’ve earned four or more years NCD, you can add this optional extra to protect your NCD for the life of your LV= policy.

Cycle cover away from home

Avid cyclist? You'll want to make sure your trusty two-wheeler is covered if you take your bike away from home. Whether it is for you or your family, with this optional cover, your bicycle or folding bike and your cycling gear is insured.

How do I get a Multi Cover quote?

For your car, you’ll need this to hand…

Driver details

A bit about you and your named drivers, like your name, address, date of birth and occupation. We’ll also need your driving licence details and information on any endorsements you might have. Remember, you must be a UK resident and legally entitled to drive.

Car details

A bit about your car, like the make, model, engine size, mileage and where you park it overnight.

Claims details

We’ll need to know about any claims or accidents you’ve been involved in. You can also let us know about any no claim discount (NCD) years you have under your belt.

And for your home, you’ll need this…

Occupant details

A bit about you and the details of any claims you or anyone you live with have made on home insurance in the last five years.

Property details

This includes the year the property was built, the material that the walls and roof of your property are made of and if it has ever suffered from flooding.

Your belongings

This includes any valuables in your home, as well as any personal belongings such as jewellery, watches and bicycles you’d like to insure when you’re away from home. We’ll let you know which ones you need to specify when you set up your policy.

Sum insured

Your contents need to be insured for the amount it would cost to replace them as new.
