LV= transcript for our video guide to winter sports cover

Hello, I'm Tom. If you're planning on hitting the slopes on your next holiday, you'll want to make sure you've got the right level of cover in place in case the worst should happen.

Our Winter Sports cover is an optional extra you can include on your annual travel insurance policy. It gives you up to 17 days worth of winter sports cover on the Essential policy and 31 days on the Premier policy for the whole year. You can also add winter sports cover to your single trip travel insurance - for more details, give us a call or visit our website.

We can include this cover on your policy if you plan on enjoying some off-piste skiing and snowboarding, so long as you ski within the ski area boundaries of a recognised ski resort and follow the ski patrol guidelines. Let's look at some of the benefits of adding Winter Sports cover to your insurance.

If things go wrong on your winter sports trip we'll cover your emergency medical expenses, as well as any costs for personal accident and personal liability.

Any cancelled tuition because of no snow at the resort, an injury or serious illness can be reimbursed.

And our winter sports cover will even pay for you to travel to another resort if there's no snow or the weather is particularly bad.

Unfortunately, there are some winter sports, like bobsleighing, ski mountaineering or snowcat skiing which we can’t insure you for. Please visit our website, to see if we can offer the right level of cover for you.

If you're taking your own skis or snowboard on holiday with you, you might also want to consider adding our optional baggage cover to your travel insurance policy.

To add winter sports or baggage cover to your policy, please call our friendly team.

We're always happy to help.

We love saving you money on other insurance too...
