How do I renew my travel insurance?

About three weeks before the renewal date of your travel insurance policy, we'll send you a handy pack with everything you need to know about renewing your policy. 

If you've set up automatic renewal, we'll renew your travel insurance using the credit or debit card used to pay for the policy previously. This way, you never have to worry about not being covered.

Sometimes the ‘current price’ shown on your renewal documents is different to what you actually paid last year. This is because any changes or claims you made during the year can affect the renewal price.

What if I don’t want to renew?

If you’re not going abroad, rather than cancelling your renewal you might want to reduce your level of cover to insure you in the UK only. That way, if you're travelling more than 25 miles away from your home (even just for the day) you're covered by the policy.

If you'd like to cancel your travel insurance policy but it’s set up to renew automatically or has already renewed, call us on 0330 678 6222 within 14 days of receiving your policy documents to get a full refund.
