Vet fees

We want to take the worry out of unexpected vet bills, which is why all of our policies cover vet fees up to an agreed limit.

Our Time limited policies will provide cover if your pet gets hurt in an accident, or develops an illness or condition for up to 12 months from the first date of treatment, with a choice of up to £1,500 or up to £2,500 veterinary fee cover.

Our Lifetime policies enable you to claim for vet fees up to the limit chosen for all conditions each year. You can continue to claim for these conditions year after year as long as your pet remains insured with us. We offer three levels of Lifetime vet fee cover, £3,000, £5,000 or £10,000.

Any pre- existing medical conditions your pet has when you take out the policy, will not be covered.

Complementary treatment

Sometimes a vet may recommend complementary treatment for your pet following an illness or injury.

Our LV= pet insurance includes complementary treatment such as acupuncture, hydrotherapy, osteopathy, physiotherapy and chiropractic therapy in both our Time Limited and our Lifetime policies.

We'll pay for up to 5 sessions for the Time limited policies and up to 10 sessions for the Lifetime policies where both the therapy and the suitably qualified therapist has been recommended by your vet.

Additional sessions can be considered if your pet has shown improvements following the complementary therapy.

Third party liability

Did you know that as a dog owner you are legally responsible for injury to others or any damage caused to someone's property? With Third party liability cover, dog owners are covered if property is damaged, or if someone is injured as a result of an incident involving your dog.

All of our Time limited and Lifetime pet policies offer you up to £2m to provide cover for the costs and compensation that you are liable for, giving you one less thing to worry about.

Accidental damage

If your pet causes accidental damage to someone's personal property while you are visiting them, then you will be able to claim for up to £750. There are some restrictions to this cover, so we recommend that you read the document of insurance.

Accidental damage cover is only available if you choose to take the £10,000 Lifetime policy.

With overseas cover you can take your pet abroad with you and we will cover your companion for 365 days, making them a well travelled pet!
