LV= transcript for our video guide to pet insurance and what it covers

Hello, I'm Tom. At LV= we offer two different levels of pet insurance so that if your furry friend falls ill, has an accident, strays - or is stolen, we'll have you covered.

Choose either our Premier or Essential policy to protect the fluffier members of your family, from eight weeks old.

Our Premier Policy comes with £10,000 worth of cover for vet fees for every year your pet is insured with us.

Whereas with Essential cover you will have up to £5,000 to pay for vet fees for up to 12 months for each condition.

Both levels of LV= pet insurance cover include complementary treatment such as acupuncture, physiotherapy and hydrotherapy sessions as long as your vet advises it.

For dogs, the policies provide third party liability cover for your legal costs and compensation payments if you are responsible for your dog injuring someone or damaging someone’s property;

And lastly, we also provide holiday cancellation cover which pays out if you have to cancel or cut short your holiday within 7 days of going away, because your pet is in need of emergency treatment.

Both levels also cover you in case of things like the death of a pet; boarding fees, should you or a family member be hospitalised for more than 4 days in a row, advertising and reward costs in the case of theft or straying, replacement pet passports so your furry friend can get back home to the UK with you, as well as access to pet helplines.
