We're by your side if you need to make a claim on your pet insurance. Here's what you need to know...

Making a claim: first things first

  • If you've had to take your poorly pet to the vet and need to make a claim, download a claim form (or call us on 0330 100 9831 to request one. 8am - 8pm Monday to Friday, 9am - 2pm Saturday. 9am - 5pm Bank holidays. Calls will be recorded. For Text Phone dial 18001 followed by the desired number) 
  • If you decide to go to another vet for a second opinion, you must call us before the appointment 
  • Please call us if you need to make a liability or accidental damage claim 

Settling your claim 

  • If someone else was involved in the incident, we look after all the negotiations with them or their insurance company 
  • If your vet is happy for us to pay them directly, we can do this. Remember to pay your vet any amount that isn't covered by your pet insurance. e.g. policy excess
  • Once everything has been finalised and payments made, your claim is then closed. You can still get in touch if you have any questions about your claim - we'll be very happy to help

How to make a claim for veterinary treatment

Most vets can submit claims to us directly from their practice system. This is the quickest way for us to receive,  assess and sort your claim...

If your vet uses Vet Envoy, they'll submit your claim through their system and we'll receive it automatically at our end - so you won't need to do anything. This is the quickest way for us to receive and assess your claim and we can pay your vet directly too.

If they're unable to submit a claim on your behalf through Vet Envoy, then please fill out the claims form below. 

Return the claims form to us

  • Check that you've included all the necessary paperwork for the section that you're claiming under
  • Return the completed claim form and the supporting documents to us
