What happens if the cover term has finished on my Life Insurance policy?

A family with LV= Life Insurance pitching a tent with a green heart

Answer

When the cover term has finished, the policy ends and you won't get anything back.

We won’t pay a claim if the term of the policy has finished or if the policy has been cancelled. For example, if a life insurance policy is taken out to cover the length of a mortgage and the person holding the policy dies after the term has finished.
