Life Insurance with Critical Illness

Do you pay if I have a terminal illness?

Answer

Within our life insurance policies there is a cover for the diagnosis of a terminal illness before the last 12 months of the plan. This allows us to pay your claim early, if your doctor has diagnosed that you have less than 12 months to live.

Our defintition of a terminal Illness means "an incurable illness where, in the opinion of an attending consultant and our Chief Medical Officer, you would not be expected to live for more than 12 months."

The payment is paid early to help you out at an incredibly difficult time for whatever you need. This might be to set your a affairs in order before you're gone and help you spend quality time with your loved ones.

If you have a policy with us, you and your immediate family will have access to our free member care line which includes a counsellor service for advice, guidance or even just a sympathetic ear.
