Life Insurance with Critical Illness

Do you have life insurance with cancer cover?

Answer

Life insurance pays out on death or terminal illness only. This means that if you are sadly diagnosed with cancer, the diagnosis will need to meet the terminal definition before the last 12 months of the policy, or the condition is fatal.

‘Terminal illness’ means an incurable illness where, in the opinion of an attending consultant and our Chief Medical Officer, you would not be expected to live formore than 12 months.

However, if you have chosen optional critical illness cover as part of your plan, you'll be covered for 63 of the listed illnesses including types of cancer cover and additional payment conditions for some specific types of cancer.
