Life Insurance claims

Everything you need to make a Life Insurance claim

We understand that it can be distressing when you need to make a claim. Our aim is to provide a stress-free claims process that pays out quickly. That’s why we aim to pay Life Insurance claims within three days.

Here you will find information that you need to make a claim.

Step 1: The information we need

  1. Your policy number (shown on your Direct Debit).
  2. We may also need the original death certificate (for a Life Insurance claim). If we need this we will send it back immediately.

Step 3: Paying a claim

  1. We will keep you informed throughout the claim process.
  2. Most of our life assurance policies include terminal illness benefit. This means we'll pay the claim early if the insured person has a terminal illness.
  3. We aim to pay the claim within three days.
