It’s fair to say that I’ve got a spring in my step this morning and that’s all because last night LV= General Insurance was named Best Insurance Provider of the Year at the annual Which? awards.
Each year, Which? publicly recognises those companies and individuals that consistently get it right for their customers and it’s fantastic to have been identified as one of those companies. We were up against some extremely stiff competition and to win is an incredible achievement and I couldn’t be prouder of the people in our business who helped us get here.
As an insurer, we were built on a principle of caring and looking after what people love most in their lives and that’s why we are still here today. We believe in putting the customer at the heart of what we do, giving them what they really need and want from their insurer. Essentially, we’re there to look after them at the time they need us most.
And it’s for that reason our ambition as a company is to be ‘Britain’s Best Loved’. That means that we not only have to provide excellent products to our customers but we also have to provide an exceptional service. That’s why we take our approach to customer service incredibly seriously and our people work relentlessly to try and do that.
It’s therefore an absolute privilege for us to be named by Which? as Best Insurance Provider of the Year and for the work we do to be recognised. I’m delighted that the efforts of our people have paid off and I hope that we can continue to do what’s right for our customers.
