Over 30 clubs signed up to the LV= Insurance Big Cricket Tea 2023 and hosted events in their communities last month!

All the clubs received a welcome pack that included LV= bunting & balloons, mini cupcake flags, tote bags, a scorecard and an overview of the event. A raffle was held at each event to raise funds for local clubs – we donated some great prizes like Ashes tickets and signed merchandise!

Take a look at highlights from some of the events that took place over the past month:

Ashbourne cricket club held the event at the same time as their Women’s softball festival, and had some amazing Indian street food and lots of cakes on offer for guests.

On Instagram, Elstow cricket club wrote “A great day at The Warren as we hosted @ampthilltowncc for the Beds league div 2 fixture and (more importantly) teas were back as we celebrated #LVBigCricketTea day. Thanks to everyone who came down and bought raffle tickets.”

Richmond cricket club held their event at Old Deer Park and managed to raise over £200 selling raffle tickets.

Hull Ionians Coal Exports cricket club had a staggering 21 teams attend their event at Brantingham park – that’s over 150 girls and boys from across East Yorkshire!
