If you've been involved in a car incident, the most important thing is that you're okay. So, make sure you're safe before getting in touch - your claim doesn't have to be reported immediately if you don’t feel safe or comfortable.

Make a Flow renters claim
To log a claim on your Flow renters insurance, simply log your claim in your Flow account and a claims handler will get back to you to go through the next steps.
Once you’ve reported your claim online, we’ll be in touch within 48 hours to run through the details and explain what happens next.

Our Flow car claims process
- When you call us to report your claim, we'll explain what you're covered for and let you know if there's any excess to pay.
- We'll then arrange for your car to be repaired. If your car can't be driven, we'll collect it for repairs and help get you where you need to be
- If you have our guaranteed hire car cover, we'll make sure you've got a car to use while yours is with one of our recommended repairers
- If your car can be repaired, you can use one of our recommended repairers to fix it. This means we can handle the full repair process for you, from estimating the damage, to returning your vehicle once the work's complete. We offer a lifetime guarantee on repairs (when using our recommended repairer service, for as long as you own the vehicle. Labour only, excludes parts).
- If there's extensive damage to your car and it needs to be written off, we'll arrange for an engineer to value your vehicle. If there's an excess to pay, this will be taken out of the valuation.
- If someone else was involved in the incident, we'll look after all the negotiations with them or their insurance company. Once this has been agreed and finalised your claim is then closed.
- Once everything has been finalised and payments made, your claim is then closed

Our Flow renters claims process
- You can report a claim directly from your online account. Once you’ve reported your claim online, we’ll be in touch within 48 hours to run through the details and explain what happens next. - When you report your claim, tell us as many details as you can. The more information you can give us during your first report, the quicker we can process your claim. We’ll check that you’re covered by your insurance and if you’ve any excess
- Our dedicated claim handlers will help you all the way through the process. Lines open 8am - 6:30pm Monday - Friday, 8am- 4pm Saturday. For TextPhone first dial 18001. Calls will be recorded
- We may ask to see some documents, like photos, quotes, invoices or receipts. We'll let you know what we need and how you can send them to us
- After that, we take over, keeping in touch regularly to let you know what's happening
- Once everything has been finalised and payments made, your claim is then closed
