Our Second Opinion service is there to check a diagnosis and clarify any unanswered questions.

If you’ve been diagnosed with a medical condition and you’ve had the results, you may still have questions about your diagnosis and the course of treatment recommended.

Our Second Opinion service is there to check a diagnosis, to clarify any unanswered questions and to help you understand the treatment options available. It may not mean that your diagnosis is changed, but it could help to provide reassurance that the initial diagnosis is right.

How does it work?

Open the LV= Doctor Services app, click Second Opinion and book your video or face-to-face consultation at a time to suit you.

The specialist selected for your consultation can be chosen to best match your diagnosis or medical condition, from a leading network of over 5,000 UK based health and medical experts. The Second Opinion service is offered in line with recommendations and advice by the UK National Institute for Health and Care Excellence (NICE) guidelines.

Simple, convenient and confidential, it’s now quick and easy to get a Second Opinion, along with any treatment, wherever you are. And only at your request will your medical information shared with your own GP.
