Am I covered if my vehicle has suffered an electrical or mechanical fault?

No, your policy (if fully comprehensive) will cover you for accidental damage, fire and theft.

Certain policies do not cover mechanical, electrical or wear and tear. If you think your vehicle has suffered a fault, take it to a garage and ask them to check.
