How will I receive my breakdown cover documents?

If you added breakdown cover as an optional extra when you bought your LV= car insurance policy and chose to receive your documents by email, they should be with you shortly. You may need to check your email junk or spam folders. If for any reason your email is returned to us, we'll automatically send your documents to you by post instead.

If you chose to receive your documents by post, they will arrive in five to seven days. If you haven't received your documents within seven days, please call us on 0330 678 5111 to request new documents.

If you've only bought breakdown cover from us (perhaps your car is insured with another company?) your documents will be sent by post or email dependant on your preference, email documents will be with you the next working day and posted documents will arrive within five to seven days. If you haven't received your documents within seven working days, please call us on 0330 678 7117 to request new documents.
