Hello there I'm Bailey and today I am going to take you through LV='s breakdown insurance and explain in a little detail what it covers. At LV= we know that sometimes things don’t go as planned. With our LV= Britannia Rescue breakdown service, we aim to get you back on the road fast.
This is why LV='s Breakdown cover offers you access to over 3,000 breakdown professionals to keep you moving when your car lets you down.
We can offer this cover at an affordable price, with no additional call out charges and a 24 hour breakdown assistance number if you break down.
When it comes to picking breakdown cover, LV= offers five different cover options so that you only pay for the level of cover that you need.
These are: Roadside Assist, which covers you when you are ¼ of a mile away from your home and includes local recovery up to 10 miles from the location of the breakdown if we can't fix your vehicle at the roadside.
Roadside & Home Assist - which gives you the same cover as Roadside Assist, but we will also cover you if you break down at your home address.
UK Recovery - which gives you the same cover as Roadside Assist, but offers recovery to anywhere in the UK, if we can't fix your vehicle by the end of the day.
UK Recovery and Home Assist - which offers the same cover as UK Recovery but with the added extra of covering you if you break down at your home address and if we can't fix your car or vehicle by the end of the day we'll offer car hire, overnight accommodation or alternative travel arrangements.
UK & European Assist - which offers the same cover as UK Recovery and Home Assist but with the added benefit of knowing that you're also covered whilst travelling through Europe.
What's more, our breakdown cover relates to the vehicle itself, so anyone driving the car can use the service as long as they have permission to use the car.
Now there are some cases in which we can't offer cover, so to find out if you're eligible check our website for more information or just give us a call; we are always happy to help.
