- Frank the Staffordshire Bull Terrier is a member of the Battersea Dogs & Cats Home Agility Display Team
- Frank performed as part of the LV= sponsored team at Crufts in March
- Frank is also one of the first ever Staffordshire Bull Terriers to be used as a cynophobia dog
He’s a clever dog, and that’s why he’s a proud member of the LV= sponsored Battersea Dogs & Cats Home Agility Display Team.
Here's Frank showing his agility skills at Crufts.
He’s now eight years old and loves to perform in the dog show ring. His favourite trick is to sing(!), and he's also (in)famous as the staffie that always likes to ‘do his business’ in the ring!
Frank arrived at the home as a stray puppy and was rehomed to Rachel Mailley, who is one of the Battersea Dogs & Cats Home Agility Display Team handlers. He’s also a bit of a celebrity and has appeared on the Paul O'Grady ‘For the Love of Dogs’ show. He has even run in the main arena at Crufts with Paul O'Grady himself.
Frank is also one of the first ever Staffordshire Bull Terriers to be used as a cynophobia dog. Cynophobia is the fear of dogs – that’s something new we learnt today - and has been used to help children and adults overcome this fear. We think Frank is a #LVDogStar!
