A lot of the items in our list will help you save space, but it is worth checking it will all fit in the car before you check it off.
If you’re being extra prepared, pitch your tent in the garden before you go away and put everything inside – you don’t want your tent to be overstuffed once you’re at the camping site, as whatever sticks out the bottom could get wet.
