We’ve made significant enhancements to our critical illness proposition

We’re excited to announce exciting changes to our critical illness proposition. You can find the full list of what’s changed in our ‘What’s changed’ document in the protection adviser library.

The changes are applicable from 22 January and our normal pipeline procedures apply (see our pipeline summary grid below.)

The key changes we’ve made are significant enhancements to our children’s cover by removing the requirement for the child to survive 14 days before paying a claim, and adding our existing unique enhanced claim payment feature – double accident benefit, to the children’s policy.

We’ve added these features to make it easier for the customer claiming, and to provide a larger payment so that the parents can deal with any lifestyle changes they may need to be make after the child has suffered a serious accident, such as third degree burns or traumatic brain injury.
