LV= launches ‘Doctor Services’ for protection customers

Protection specialist and mutual, LV=, is today adding LV= Doctor Services to all personal protection products for new customers, at no added cost.

Provided by partner Square Health, this new service offers policyholders convenient access to three medical services via one app. Customers will be able to speak to a UK doctor by video or phone, get a private prescription without needing to visit their GP, as well as obtaining a review of an existing diagnosis and specialist advice on treatment options.

From today, the service will be available to all new personal protection policyholders. Customers simply need to download the app to their smartphone, or call Square Health directly, to get easy access to UK doctors and specialists, whatever their medical concern and wherever they are. Appointments are available between 8am-7pm Monday to Friday and 9am-1pm on Saturdays, and it can also be used for the policyholder’s children up to the age of 16.
