LV= General Insurance announced top insurer for customer satisfaction

LV= General Insurance (LV=GI), one of the largest car and home insurers in the UK, has today been revealed as the highest ranked insurer in the UK Customer Satisfaction Index (UKCSI) and achieved tenth place overall.

LV= GI has placed in the top ten for the third time in a row, and sits alongside well-known brands such as John Lewis, First Direct and Next.

The index, published today, is run by the Institute of Customer Service and is the barometer of UK customer satisfaction. It rates customer satisfaction at a national, sector and organisational level across 13 sectors – incorporating the views of over 10,000 consumers on 259 organisations. 

A number of different customer measures are surveyed as part of the UKCSI, including staff professionalism, the quality and efficiency of the service, trust and transparency, the customer experience, complaint handling and ethical dimensions. Customers are also asked whether they feel that an organisation keeps their promises, does ‘the right thing’ in business practices and makes them feel reassured.
