Matthew Trott, Head of Annuities, and Ray Chinn, Head of Pensions, retain the roles they previously performed at ‘Tomorrow', with wider responsibility now across the whole LV= annuity and pensions portfolios.

Stuart Tragheim takes on the new role of Distribution Strategy and Business Development Director, responsible for marketing, national accounts and e-commerce. Previously Director of Intermediary Business at LV=, Stuart joined the friendly society in 2005 from the Association of British Insurers, where he had been Director of the ABI's Raising Standards scheme. He was also previously Sales Director at the Teachers Friendly Society.

Heidi Welch retains the position of Direct Distribution Director with responsibility for promoting life products direct to consumers. Recent activity in this area has centred around the successful Cilla Black fronted TV advertising campaign for the LV= 50 Plus Plan whole of life protection product.

Rodney Cook, Managing Director of the LV= Life and Pensions business said: "This new management team is now well placed to move our life and pensions business forward, and capitalise on the recent launch of our flexible retirement solutions business. I am delighted that we have been able to retain the talent, experience and capabilities of the former Tomorrow new business management, to complement our strong existing management team, and strengthen our business."
