LV= rolls out 'LV= doctor services' for retirement customers

LV= is today making its LV= Doctor Services app available as a benefit for new retirement policyholders, at no added cost.

The service, which is already available to LV=’s new protection policyholders, offers convenient access to three medical advice services via one app. Customers are able to speak to a UK doctor by video or phone, get a private prescription without needing to visit their GP, as well as obtaining a review of an existing diagnosis and specialist advice on treatment options.

The service, provided by Square Health, will now offer all new LV= retirement policyholders easy access to UK doctors and specialists. Customers simply need to download the app to their smartphone, call Square Health directly or visit LV.com/doctorservices. Appointments are available between 8am-7pm Monday to Friday and 9am-1pm on Saturdays.

Steve Lewis, Life Sales and Marketing Director at LV= said: “At LV= we want to help our customers feel more confident. That’s why, following the success of the Doctor Services app among our protection customers, we have decided to extend this service to our new retirement customers also.

“This will provide more of our customers with added support and reassurance, giving them the convenience of accessing healthcare regardless of where they are and whatever their concern. We believe this will be a welcome addition for our retirement customers, who are increasingly approaching this next life stage with even more hectic schedules than previous generations.”

Both LV= protection and retirement customers also have access to legal professionals, counsellors and nurses through our Member Care Line.
