LV= expanding office in Brentwood and recruiting for 150 new staff

LV= today announces it is expanding its current operation in Brentwood. LV= is a leading mutual financial company and offers a wide range of financial products including life insurance, pensions and retirement solutions, plus pet, home, car, travel and commercial general insurance products. The staff in Brentwood deal with a variety of aspects of the company’s general insurance business including IT, underwriting, marketing and claims.

Following strong growth over the past year, the company, which already employs over 200 people in Brentwood, is expanding its claims division and as a result is currently recruiting for 45 new staff between now and the end of the year. It is opening an additional floor at the Brentwood office with a new on-site cafe for staff.

The majority of the new roles available involve handling car insurance claims including speaking with customers, brokers and other interested parties such as lawyers, car hire companies and doctors. LV= is looking for people with either customer services experience or a background in insurance for these roles.

LV= has grown significantly in the last few years and is now the UK's fourth biggest car insurer. The company currently employs 5000 staff across over 20 offices.
