LV= appoints head of customer experience

Press release: 09/07/2012

LV= has appointed Craig McVoy as Head of Customer Experience for its retirement solutions business. Craig has over a decade of experience of leading customer services teams, including eight years at Privilege Insurance and most recently at Inchcape where he was Head of Contact Centres.

Craig’s appointment is a further boost to the senior team in LV=’s retirement solutions business. Other recent recruits include Katherine Oxenham who joined from Annuity Direct in March, Philip Brown (previously at Partnership) and Steve Lewis (previously at The Retirement Partnership) who joined in August and September last year.

In his new role Craig will report into Steve Knight, LV=’s Life and Pensions Chief Operating Officer, and will be responsible for leading the retirement solutions customer service teams and identifying ways to enhance service delivery to advisers and customers.

Steve Knight, LV= Chief Operating Officer said: “LV= is an increasingly strong player in the retirement market, and providing excellent customer service is key to our growth. Craig’s appointment reflects the focus on customer service at LV= and the importance we place on continuing to develop and enhance our offering.”

Craig McVoy, LV= Head of Customer Experience: “It’s an exciting time to be joining LV= and I look forward to using my insight and experience in delivering excellent customer service management to help grow the retirement solutions business.”

About LV=

LV= employs over 5000 people and serves around five million customers with a range of financial products. We are the UK’s largest friendly society and a leading financial mutual.

When we started in 1843 our goal was to give financial security to more than just a privileged few and for many decades we were most commonly associated with providing a method of saving to people of modest means. Today we follow a similar purpose, helping people to protect and provide for the things they love, although on a much larger scale and through a wide range of financial services including insurance, investment and retirement products.

We offer our services direct to consumers, as well as through IFAs and brokers, and through strategic partnerships with organisations such as ASDA, Nationwide Building Society and a range of trades unions.
