LV= wins Employee Engagement Strategy of the Year

LV= has won the Employee Engagement Strategy of the Year award at the UK Customer Satisfaction Awards held by the Institute of Customer Service. The award was won by LV='s life and pensions' customer service team for its 2011 employee engagement strategy.

The awards are open to members of the Institute of Customer Service and entries are judged on criteria such as the reasoning behind the implementation of the strategy; and whether the relationship between management and staff was positive.

The judges were impressed with a number of initiatives undertaken by LV=, including the creation of a night designed to recognise LV='s star performers; and a scheme developed to encourage staff to develop their technical skills.
