Annual General Meeting (AGM)
The Annual General Meeting (AGM) for 2008 was held on 29th May at the Bournemouth International Centre in Bournemouth with over 70 members in attendance.
In addition, over 45,000 of you voted by proxy. This resulted in around £15,000 being raised for charity so thank you for your participation.
This year's chosen charities are the Youth Cancer Trust, LV= Streetwise and Great Ormond St Hospital.
The resolutions
The seven resolutions (and the % of positive votes cast in their favour) were to:
- Receive the Annual Report and Accounts for 2007 (98.67%)
- Reappoint Gill Nott as a director (96.44%)
- Reappoint Keith Abercromby as a director (96.98%)
- Reappoint Ian Reynolds as a director (96.51%)
- Reappoint Richard Rowney as a director (96.76%)
- Approve the 2007 Remuneration Report (93.87%)
- Reappoint Ernst & Young as our auditors (97.94%)
