LV= Going Green

We are passionate about the environment so we are always taking steps to try and be as green as possible.  Below are a few examples.

Recycling 

Last year LV= recycled 169 tonnes of paper and cardboard, equating to the weight of over 30 African elephants.

Every month we recycle around 50,000 plastic vending cups.

All in a good cause

Following an upgrade of our IT equipment we explored how we could responsibly dispose of the old kit.  We gave Oxfam our old PC's and monitors, which were then securely cleaned of all data, re-cycled and reused.

This saved LV= money and helped go towards a good cause.

Redundant merchandise to African Orphanage

Following our re-brand from Liverpool Victoria to LV=, we had some old brand stationary and general merchandise left.  Rather than dispose of the redundant stock, one of our employees arranged to send it to an orphanage in Africa.
