Mortgage Endowment Promise
Six out of ten mortgage endowment policies are unlikely to raise enough to repay home loans*. This has left people paying their mortgages long after they should have been cleared, just at a time when they should have been enjoying life. (*Source Daily Mirror 5/12/07)
Provided the full mortgage value was covered at the outset of the policy, the LV= endowment promise means all our mortgage endowment policies that are paid to full term, are guaranteed to pay the outstanding mortgage amount.
Asset Tracing
We subscribe to the Unclaimed Asset Register, a unique database holding over 5 million records of unclaimed monies. It's a great example of how we're improving our service to members and their families, by reuniting unclaimed assets with their rightful owners and beneficiaries.
